| Marty is a male Black Lab.
He was born 20 June 2001 and raised by Sandy
and Tom of Greece (3rd dog raised) along with Carol of Greece (1st dog
raised). Marty is a special dog that was raised in the Greece Central School
District as part of a GEB program called "In Honor of
Diversity". He went to classes from the time he was a tiny pup with
Sandy and Carol who both worked for the district. He was the third GEB
pup that helped teach the students many things including how to
accept those with physical challenges.
Marty was named in honor of Dr. Marty Miller who provided vet care for our GEB puppies for many years, as well as given wise counsel to our raisers. His family also raised two dogs for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. After passing his IFT on 22 January 2003, Marty trained for a couple of months and then decided he would rather be a family pet to his raiser, Carol. Together, they are enjoying the life of the retiree.
