Petunia ("Tuna" as she is lovingly referred to in our region) is a female Black Lab. She was born 4 December 1998 and was raised by Marc, Barb, Cristen and Libby of ???. She was their xth dog raised for GEB. After passing her IFT on 27 September 2000, she was selected to be part of the Breeding Colony at the GEB Breeding Center and was retired in 2002. She now lives with the family that harbored her during the time she spent as a brood for GEB. Interesting fact: Tuna's only two progeny both became Guide Dogs. Son Franklin was raised in the Monroe Region and became a working Guide Dog in December of 2003! Congratulations, Petunia (and the raiser crew)!
