About GEB

Ruby is a female Black Lab, born 24 February 2000 and raised by Emily and her family in Farmington, their first dog raised.  She went in for training in January 2002.  For almost a full year she was part of the special needs program at Guiding Eyes that helps visually impaired people that have other challenges as well.  It took her a while to settle on a career, but she has finally decided that she wanted to be Emily's family pet and enjoys time romping with their other dog, Abby.  Ruby has passed another test and is now a registered therapy dog.

Interesting fact: Ruby's original name was "Rhubarb"
